It's easy to forget
That's what we’re finding as we walk around Christchurch after the earthquake. The red zone is slowly opening up and there are heaps of empty spaces where buildings used to be. The weird thing is, a lot of the time we can hardly remember what was there before the quakes.
So we thought it would be a good idea to document some of our favourite buildings. To create something to put on the wall (or carry your groceries in) to help jog memories of the places we used to go to hang out, to see bands, to meet buddies, to work in or simply to pass by.
Before you email us to tell us the great spot we've missed – we know. With about a thousand buildings coming down we had to be a bit choosy. If this poster goes well we'll keep drawing and have another poster out when we can.
Thanks for taking a look. Please spread the word if you like what we're doing and feel free to get in touch with your ideas of places we could add.
